Booking  Conditions.

A £50 none refundable deposit is required to secure the booking and your full name and address must be provided.

Full payment must be made three weeks before arrival:

Cheques made payable to Mr & Mrs Briggs and posted to our address.

Or by Bank transfer into our account at Barclays sort code 20.45.28 account no 90564338

Give your surname name and date of your stay as the reference

Plaese note card payments cannot be taken for stable cottage, card payment can only be made in the B&B

Arrival and departure.

Weekly bookings are from Saturday to Saturday, arriving after 3pm departing by 10am

Sort breaks are available for long week-ends or mid-week stays from November to March three nights minimum. Please telephone or e-mail for details.


Should you need to cancel your reservation please give as much notice as possible so that we can try to re-let the Cottage, and so defray our losses.

Cancellation notice over 30 days prior to arrival will not incur any cancellation charge other than the none refundable deposit. The deposit could be held over for a future stay.

Cancellations less than 30 days will incur a charge of 75% of the full value of the booking unless the cottage can be re-let.  Any cancellations must be put in writing.

Damages and breakages

Please inform us as soon as possible should there be any breakages or damage during your stay.

All major damage must be paid for.


One dog will be accepted at our discretion, an extra payment of £20 will be required.

Dogs must not be left in the house unattended, and dogs must not be allowed in the bed rooms.

Bike Storage

There is a lockable shed for bicycle storage,

A hose pipe is available for washing muddy bicycles or muddy boots!


A highchair and a travel cot are available at no extra charge, please ask


The cottage has been specially adapted to accommodate wheel chair users.

The main entrance to the cottage has level access and the doorway is 700mm wide.

A pay phone is situated in the Hallway.

The Lounge and dining area are large spacious and light. The floor is stripper pine with a large rug.

(The views are superb!)

The dining table has a single pedestal and four chairs which can be moved to suit individual needs.

The main bedroom has a 700mm doorway leading to a spacious double room, a large en-suite wet room with a walk in shower, a shower chair is provided, and the toilet has a side arm and a grab rail on the wall.

The second bed room has an en-suite shower room which is not accessible to wheelchair users, but has level access from the bedroom.

The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine. All the appliances have been sited so they can be accessed from a wheelchair, ie low hob and work top with clear under-space. The wall cupboards have also been sited with wheelchair users in mind.
